IMPHAL, Nov 20 � Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to attend the closing function of the 10-day Manipur Sangai Festival which begins at Hafta Kangjeibung here tomorrow.
Prime Minister�s Office (PMO)today confirmed Prime Minister�s proposed visit to Manipur during the closing function of the festival, according to a State Government official.
However, the tentative programme of the PM�s trip to Manipur is yet to be made, the official added.
Meanwhile, Myanmar�s Chin Province Chief Minister U Hong Ngai heading a 35 member delegation has arrived here this evening.He will be attending the inaugural function tomorrow of the
festival which strives to showcase and promote the State.
