PATACHARKUCHI, July 18 - State Transport Minister Chandra Mohan Patowary today visited the flood-hit areas of Bajali and reviewed the situation of the affected areas. He visited several flood-affected areas, including Ghoramara, Upornoi and Jalikhata.
During his visit, the Minister assured all possible help from the State Government side. Relief materials were also distributed in Ghoramara and Upornoi where an embankment of river kaldia was breached. Circle officer of Bajali Revenue circle, Rashmi Rekha Borgohain informed that around 34 villages under the revenue circle has been affected in the current wave of flood.
Around 4,700 animals have been affected so far in the sub-division. A vaccination camp was organised in the affected areas.
