Pakistan beat India by six wickets

CHENNAI, Dec 30 (IANS) Pakistan beat India by six wickets in the first One-Day International (ODI) between the two sides at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium here Sunday.

Earlier, with the help of skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni's unbeaten 113, India had posted a total of 227/6 which the visitors chased down in 48.1 overs.

Nasir Jamshed and Shoaib Malik remained unbeaten on 101 and 34, respectively.
