KOHIMA, Oct 24 - Nagaland Chief Minister TR Zeliang has asserted that Naga political issue remained every Nagas issue and more so for the younger generation since their political destiny is going to be decided in the backdrop of Centre declaring its resolve to go about finding an honourable solution.

While interacting with a delegation of Naga Students Union Delhi (NSUD) at Nagaland House, New Delhi on Monday, the Chief Minister told them, It is everyones issue and the need of the hour is to put our heads together, be it the student, politician, bureaucrat, community or the general public.

Our common destiny is at stake and if we want to have a say on how our future is to be decided, now is the time to speak up our minds, give our suggestions, he said.

When the Government of India has declared that it is determined to solve the long-standing Naga political issue once and for all, we should come forward and suggest how best to go about to find a solution that is honourable and acceptable to all sections of the Naga society, the Chief Minister opined.

The Chief Minister also pointed out that for the sake of finding a permanent solution to the protracted Naga political problem, all political parties in the 60-member Nagaland Assembly have come together burying their political differences and are now speaking out in one voice to the Centre as well as the other negotiating groups. PTI
