GUWAHATI, Jan 3 - Additional Deputy Commissioner for Food, Civil Supply and Consumer Affairs Department of Kamrup Metro, Bipul Kumar Das, today convened a meeting to discuss various issues regarding prices of onion and potato in the markets of Guwahati.
The retail price of onion was fixed at Rs 70 per kg in the meeting.
Das said, �The price of onion is constantly decreasing.
Taking advantage of the situation, some of the retailers is still charging high prices for onion and potato but our team is continuously visiting all the markets and checked the prices.�
