DULIAJAN, Jan 18 � ONGCL have clinched the 32nd Petroleum Sports Promotion Board (PSPB) Inter Unit Volleyball Tournament organized by Oil India Ltd here at Nehru Maidan. In the final match played today, ONGCL outplayed BPCL 3-1 (25-27, 25-20, 26-24, 25-20). Host OIL secured the third position by defeating GAIL 2-0 (25-12, 25-11).
The chief guest in the closing ceremony Aribindra Kalita, SP Dibrugarh, handed over the champion�s trophy to the winning team and also released a souvenir published on the occasion. NK Agarwal, Resident Chief Executive, OIL handed over the trophy to the runners-up team. Tom Joseph of BPCL was adjudged the Best Volleyball Player of the tournament and was awarded Rs 7,500.
