AIZAWL, March 4 - Mizoram Chief Minister Lal Thanhawla said forests in the State continued to be ravaged by fire despite concerted and coordinated efforts made by the government, NGOs and the church. He said this while inaugurating the Fire Prevention Week here recently.
State Environment and Forests Minister Lalrinmawia Ralte said fire incidents in the State was the highest in the country and one-third of forest fires in NE occurred in Mizoram. � PTI
