One more tests positive in Meghalaya

SHILLONG, June 7 - One more person has tested positive for COVID-19, taking the total number of active cases in Meghalaya to 20.

The person had returned from Maharashtra recently. He is under quarantine centre in East Khasi Hills district.

�Another resident of Meghalaya who has come from Maharashtra has tested positive for COVID19. Person is under quarantine in East Khasi Hills,� Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma tweeted. With this, the total number of COVID-19 cases in the State has gone up to 34, of whom 13 patients have recovered.

So far, one COVID-19 patient has died in the State.
