SUALKUCHI, May 24 � One Samin Barman (22), son of Dandi Barman of Singimari Majarsupa under Dadara Police Outpost, was killed and one Dibakar Barman received injuries in a police firing today at 4 pm in Singimari Chowk.
The police opened fire to disperse a violent crowd there following a road mishap that took place at Singimari at 4 pm in which one person died.
According to eye witnesses, a Winger ran over three persons at Singimari Bazar Chowk, killing one.
