GUWAHATI, Jan 13 � The Oil team won 9 medals at the PSPB Inter Unit Table Tennis Tournament in New Delhi recently. Soneswar Deka won triple crown. Assam Table Tennis Association secretary Tridib Duvarah was the manager of the team. Monalisa Barua Mehta was the coach of OIL for the championship.
Shankab, Adrija in Oil team: Assam�s youth No. 1 player Shankab Gautam Baruah and Adrija Sarma, Assam Junior Girls No. 1, were selected for the OIL Table Tennis team for the XXXIV PSPB Inter-Table Tennis Tournament held in New Delhi recently. Both Shankab and Adrija were selected by Oil on a scholarship programme, stated a release.
