ITANAGAR, July 5 - Security forces nabbed a NSCN (R) cadre from Khonsa in Tirap district of Arunachal Pradesh, a press release said.
Based on intelligence of extortion activities being carried out in Tirap district headquarters town, Khonsa Battalion of 16 Assam Rifles carried out an operation in the area on Saturday last and apprehended the NSCN (R) cadre. A 7.65mm pistol with live rounds was recovered from him along with some contraband items, it added.
