DIMAPUR, July 29 - Reacting to the news item �Zeliangrong people want NSCN-IM to stop �illegal logging immediately�, the NSCN-IM has clarified that logging activities in �disputed areas has been halted� for sometime now.
In a statement issued by Maisong Moita, the Central Administrative Officer (CAO) of the Makuilongdi Zeliangrong Region, the outfit said, �In pursuance to the ban order, logging in disputed areas has been halted for quite sometime now.�
