NRL pays Rs 13.6 cr to govt as dividend

GUWAHATI, Oct 20 � Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL) paid Rs 13.62 crore as dividend to the Government of Assam for its equity holding of 12.35 per cent in the company for the financial year 2010-11, a Janasanyog release stated.

The dividend cheque was formally handed over to the Chief Minister by NRL Managing Director, Dipak Chakravarty at the former�s official residence here last evening.

Principal Secretary, Finance, Govt. of Assam, HS Das and senior officials of NRL were present on the occasion.
