NPF chief suspends seven MLAs from party

DIMAPUR, Jan 6 � Following open dissidence by a section of NPF legislators against Nagaland Chief Minister TR Zeliang demanding change of guard in the State Government, party president Dr Sh�rhozelie Liezietsu has suspended seven legislators from the primary and active membership of the party.

NPF president Dr Sh�rhozelie has signed suspension orders against Ministers G Kaito Aye, along with Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu, Parliamentary Secretaries Zhalheo Rio, Pukhayi, Pohwang Konyak, Shetoyi and Tivihoto Ayemi.

In an order issued late Monday night, Dr Sh�rhozelie said the members of the Nagaland Assembly named above are not the members of the NPF which is the dominant partner of the DAN-III Government in the State.
