TURA, July 23 - Achik Youth Council (AYC) on Friday lashed out at Meghalaya Chief Minister Dr Mukul Sangma�s remark of all District Selection Committee (DSC) appointments being political.
The CM on Thursday after a Cabinet meeting, in answer to a question raised by the media said, �Who is not a political appointee,� a remark that had led to the NGO to question the need for people of the State striving to be better educated to get a job.
�What is the point of studying so hard and struggling days and nights so that you can be better placed when it comes to a job in the State Government,� said the NGO, hitting out at the remarks.
