GUWAHATI, Feb 24 - In view of the clearance of the rail blockade at New Coochbehar, which had hit train services to and from the North East, running of trains over the New Jalpaiguri-New Coochbehar-New Bongaigaon section has resumed. However, complete normalcy will take some more time, NF Railway officials said today.
After the removal of the agitators belonging to the Greater Cooch Behar People�s Association (GCPA), services of over 30 trains have been restored.
Among the trains which have been restored are the 13247 Capital Express, 15658 Kanchanjunga Express, 15960 Kamrup Express, Saraighat Express, the 14055 Brahmaputra Mail, the 15765 Siliguri-Dhubri Intercity Express and the 15766 Dhubri-Siliguri Intercity Express.
