NFR detects 6.5 lakh ticketless travellers

GUWAHATI, March 20 - The NF Railway has detected 6.5 lakh ticketless travellers so far this fiscal.

�This is about 28.5 per cent higher than the number of cases detected in the last year,� said an official statement.

The NF Railway has also realised an amount of Rs 41.82 crore from ticketless travellers as penalty so far this fiscal. This is about 22.5 per cent higher than the figure during the corresponding period last fiscal.
