GUWAHATI, July 25 - As an initiative to help the newspaper hawkers amid the present pandemic situation, the All Guwahati Newspaper Hawkers� Association in association with the Kamrup (Metro) district administration today distributed dry ration among more than 200 hawkers on the Assam Tribune building premises.
All the norms of social distancing were maintained during the programme.
More such drives would be taken up by the association for newspaper hawkers of different areas of the city in the days to come, stated the association president Dilip Barman.
