GUWAHATI, Oct 24 � The Kamrup Metro district administration has fixed new spots for departure and arrival of ferries plying between Guwahati and New Guwahati after holding consultation with various stakeholders.
As per the directive, ferries will operate from Sukreswar Ghat for North Guwahati, while for ferries running in Guwahati-Rajaduwar the Uzan Bazar Ghat has been fixed, stated a release.
The administration has also decided to take steps to improve the facilities at both the ghats.
