GUWAHATI, June 2 - NorthEast United FC (NEUFC) have made one of their crucial international signings in the form of Brazilian defender, Mailson Alves.
The 28-year old defender was one of the key performers that helped him grab the ISL Trophy and was vital in his team�s resurgent performances towards the latter half of the season.
NorthEast United FC head coach, Sergio Farias expressed his approval over the signing. �This season we are picking players based on their suitability to fit into our philosophy. Mailson is someone who can give us that edge. His experience in the ISL is also a huge factor,� a press note of the NEUFC said.
