NDFB declares unilateral truce

GUWAHATI, July 26 � The Ranjan Daimary faction of the National Democratic Front of Boroland (NDFB) today announced its decision to go for an unilateral ceasefire for an indefinite period with effect from August 1.

In a release here today, the NDFB said that the decision to go for a cease fire was taken in a general meeting of the outfit held on July 25 to find a durable and political solution to the conflicts through political dialogue.
