MANGALDAI, Oct 4 - Guwahati Super Division League Champions Navajyoti Club moved into the semifinal of the 36th Amba Medhi Prize-money Invitational Football Tournament registering a 5-4 victory against Assam Police Blues via tie breaker here today.
In the well contested third quarterfinal at the Mangaldai Stadium here both the teams failed to score in the regulation time much to the disappointment of the holiday crowd due to poor finishing. In the penalty shoot out all the five players of Navajyoti successfully hit the net but Bul Neiril Charai of Assam Police shot wide.
