GUWAHATI, Aug 30 - The Assam Traditional Sports and Dragon Boat Association celebrated the National Sports Day at Chhaygaon on Saturday.
On the occasion, a small programme was held under the presidentship of Taher Ahmed where the players from Assam who represented the national team in various international championships were felicitated.
The players are � Bijulee Kalita, Beuti Kalita, Dipannita Kalita, Amiya Kalita, Hiramoni Kalita, Mainuddin Ahmed, Mushahab Ali, Rupen Rabha and Ainal Ali, stated a press release.
