SIVASAGAR, Sept 13 � Member of Parliament Bijoy Krishna Handique escaped unhurt today after the vehicle in which he was travelling from Jorhat hit a Tata Sumo at Gamon Bridge about five kilometres from here.
However some escort personnel of the MP�s convoy were injured in the mishap and were admitted in the Sivasagar Civil Hospital.
