The Governor also requested the Home Minister to examine the proposal for recruitment of people from NE in Delhi Police and Delhi Judicial Services to ensure that the interests of the NE people are guarded. He further suggested advising the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi to reassure the people of the North East of proper redressal of their grievances.
