Nagaland CM condoles Munde�s death

DIMAPUR, June 4 � Nagaland Chief Minister TR Zeliang, Lok Sabha MP Neiphiu Rio and Nagaland unit of BJP have condoled the death of Union Rural Development Minister Gopinath Munde, who passed away in a car crash in New Delhi on Tuesday.

In a condolence message, Zeliang expressed shock and pain over the death of Munde, describing him as a grassroots leader who rose to become one of the tallest leaders in the country.

The Chief Minister also conveyed deepest condolences to the bereaved family.

Rio described Munde as a mass leader who continually worked for the people, especially the downtrodden, and dedicated his whole life to the service of the people.

Conveying his deepest condolences to the bereaved family, Rio prayed to give them courage to overcome the tragedy and also for peace of the departed soul. The BJP Nagaland expressed deep sorrow over the unfortunate and untimely demise of Munde.

Condoling his death, the State BJP unit observed a minute of silence as a mark of respect to the departed leader during a meeting held in Dimapur today.
