AIZAWL, July 24 - Mizoram University Controller of Examinations Prof RL Thanmawia has tendered his resignation over the alleged gross discrepancies in undergraduate examination results.
The professor submitted his resignation to MZU vice chancellor Prof R Lalthantluanga on July 21.
Mizo Students Union (MSU) and Aizawl City College Joint Students� Union (ACCJSU) on July 19 met Prof Thanmawia and asked him to take responsibility for the discrepancies in undergraduate results and submit his resignation. The student bodies also asked the VC to take measure so that the Controller of Examinations resigns from his post.
