JALUKBARI, March 20 - Gauhati University Dr Mridul Hazarika inaugurated the music release ceremony of the song Jiya Xopun under BJ Production on the university campus toady.
The song is composed and sung by rising singer Sharukh, Gauhati University�s best singer in 2014-15 and winner of Gup-Shup Music Awards 2019. Dr Ranjan Kr Kakati, Director, Students� Welfare, GU has penned the lyrics of the song. Music is by Trion Mahanta and the song is mixed and mastered by Pinkal Pratyush.
The song draws inspiration from the struggles of the peasants and working class. Releasing the music, Dr Hazarika lauded the team of Jiya Xopun for the soulful music and also praised the thoughtful lyrics on the life and struggles of the peasants and the working class.
