Music concert on climate at Shraddhanjali Kanan today

GUWAHATI, Sept 26 - Tomorrow, marking the end of the Global Climate Action Week, the Guwahati chapter of Fridays For Future is organising a Climate Emergency concert featuring speakers and socially conscious artistes, at Shraddhanjali Kanan here from 4 pm to 8 pm.

The event will help in raising awareness and catalysing action on the climate and ecological emergency. The concert will feature Hindi/Assamese rapper Aughad, the band Bottle Rockets, and international award-winning band Rain in Sahara (USA/Spain/India).

�Organised by Fridays for Future, Guwahati, with support from Extinction Rebellion, Guwahati, and Rain in Sahara, the event calls on all citizens who want to safeguard the future for our children to join hands to attend the event and unite to work towards solutions to tackle the climate and ecological emergency unfolding around the world; because failure is not an option,� the organisers said in a statement.
