GUWAHATI, Aug 5 - Hatigaon police today exhumed the body of one Susmita Rajbongshi from the graveyard.

Police had earlier stated that the woman had died due to Japanese Encephalitis on July 26. But her mother suspected it to be a case of murder and moved the court, which asked the police to carry out a post-mortem.

It is noteworthy that her husband Jewel Khan had escaped from the custody of Hatigaon police station six days ago and is still absconding.
