GUWAHATI, Nov 11 - The Munin Barkotoki Memorial Trust has chosen young poet Ankur Ranjan Phukan and short story writer Monoranjan Bori for the Munin Barkotoki Literary Award 2019 for their manuscripts Khando-ta and Moh-jokh respectively.
This annual award instituted to encourage young and promising writers in Assamese, carries a cash prize of fifty thousand rupees along with a citation and a plaque.
The 25th edition of the award will be given away at a formal function to be held in Guwahati later, said a press release.
