SHILLONG, Oct 1 - Meghalaya Chief Minister Mukul Sangma on Friday welcomed the surgical strike by India on Pakistan-sponsored terrorist camps across the LoC and said the �whole country stands united� in fighting terrorism.
�Our stand has been always clear. We will fight terrorism and anyone instrumental in launching terrorist strikes against the country,� the CM said.
He said: �Measures taken by the Army has to be welcomed and appreciated.� Sangma added that similar surgical strikes must also be conducted in countries neighbouring NE as many terrorist camps are based there. � Correspondent
