GUWAHATI, June 6 � The south-west monsoon, which hit Kerala yesterday, advanced further into most parts of Assam and Meghalaya, the entire Nagaland-Manipur-Mizoram-Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh and some parts of sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim.
The northern limit of monsoon is now passing through Latitude 13 degree North-Longitude 60 degree East, Latitude 13 degree North-Longitude 70 degree East, Mangaluru, Mysuru, Salem, Cuddalore, Latitude 14 degree North-Longitude 86 degree East, Latitude 16 degree North-Longitude 90 degree East, Latitude 21 degree North-Longitude 92 degree East.
