Modi to visit Nagaland in December

DIMAPUR, July 28 � Prime Minister Narendra Modi has agreed to visit Nagaland during the Hornbill Festival in December this year. This was stated in a press release on Governor PB Acharya�s trip to Delhi when he called on the PM and extended the invitation.

In another meeting with the Vice Chancellor of Delhi University, the Governor suggested that major tribal dialects/languages of the Northeastern States should be introduced in the university. The VC, the release stated, has assured the Governor that this will be done and a preliminary report for the same would be sent to the office of the Governor soon. Acharya also called on President Pranab Mukherjee and Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh.
