AIZAWL, June 26 � Mizoram Governor Lt General (retd) M M Lakhera has summoned the Monsoon session of the Mizoram Legislature to commence from July 7, sources in the State Assembly Secretariat said here today.
With the vote-on-account being sought by Chief Minister Lal Thanhawla, who also hold the Finance portfolio, in March for the first four months of the current fiscal, the new Finance Minister H Liansailova is likely to present the budget during the session.
Lal Thanhawla recently effected a minor reshuffle of portfolios of his Council of Ministers when he gave Finance to Liansailova, a senior Cabinet Minister for Agriculture and Horticulture. � PTI
