Mishra mourns Bhishma Narain Singh�s demise

ITANAGAR, Aug 3 - Arunachal Pradesh Governor Brig (Dr) BD Mishra (Retd) has expressed grief on the sudden demise of the first Governor of Arunachal Bhishma Narain Singh, who breathed his last on August 1 at a private hospital in Noida following prolonged illness.

Singh held the gubernatorial post for a brief stint of 27 days from February 20 to March 18, 1987.

Condoling the demise, the Governor said the people of Arunachal Pradesh will always cherish the fond memory of Bhishma Narain Singh as the first Governor of the State.

Conveying deep sorrow and heartfelt condolence on behalf of the people of Arunachal Pradesh, the Itanagar Raj Bhavan family and on his own behalf, the Governor prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul.
