ITANAGAR, May 12 - A minor boy was killed and three others were injured when the vehicle they were travelling in, skidded off the road and fell down into a deep gorge near Sagalee in Papum Pare district today, the police said.
The 12-year-old boy identified as Nani Byoda died on the spot and his parents and younger sister sustained injuries when their car (AR-04 4447) fell into a 60-metre gorge at Meb village, stated the Officer-in-charge of the Sagalee Police Station, Inspector Kime Kimmo.
The boy�s father, Nani Tada, mother Nani Yakang and sister Nani Sunka (8) were being evacuated to the RK Mission Hospital in Itanagar, the OC said. The accident occurred around 7.30 am when Nani Tada and his family were proceeding towards Rupa in West Kameng district from Itanagar. Tada is an UDC with the PWD.
