Meghalaya gets 75 new cases

SHILLONG, Aug 27 - Meghalaya reported 75 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, taking the total active cases to 1,222 in the State.

During the same period, 25 patients also recovered from the infection. The total recoveries in the State have now risen to 899.

East Khasi Hills district reported 29 new cases, East Garo Hills district 27, West Garo Hills district 15, South West Garo Hills district two and South Garo Hills district and North Garo Hills district reported one case each.
