SHILLONG, Feb 24 - The 10-day Budget Session of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly will begin from March 13.
The Business Advisory Committee, in its meeting held on Monday, framed the calendar of the Budget Session and decided it would have 10 working days � seven days for government business and three for private members� business. The session will begin with the address of Governor Tathagata Roy on March 13.
The budget estimates would be presented by Chief Minister Conrad Sangma, who also holds the finance portfolio, on March 18 and the budget would be passed on March 26.
