GUWAHATI, June 8 � As part of its celebration of World Environment Day, Kalpadroom Foundation has set up a medicinal plant garden at Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Barsajai, Lalmati. Students of the school with encouragement from the teachers and members of the organization have planted a number of rare and valuable saplings. The garden will be looked after by the students.�
Meanwhile, Happy Child School, Rehabari and Maharshi Vidya Mandir, Silpukhuri emerged the winners in Group �A and B respectively in the People�s Friend Foundation�s �All Assam Open school ENVIRO QUIZ held on the occasion of World Environment Day.
The competition was held at the District Library, Guwahati.
The winners bagged prize money of Rs 5,000 each along with many gift hampers and certificates. �
