Medical, veterinary camps

GUWAHATI, July 24 - 33rd Bn ITBP organised a medical check-up and treatment camp and a veterinary camp under its Civic Action Programme (CAP) for the villagers of Jugdal and Karchia, Sonapur on July 23 and 24. A team of three doctors from 33rd Bn and medical staff extended their services for the villagers.

The team was led by Dr Lawrence Kindo, Senior Medical Officer and Dr Geetamoni Deka and Dr K Shanti Bala Devi. More than 175 villagers benefited from the medical camp.

The veterinary camp was led by Dr Manjur Uddin Ahmed. They extended their services to the animals of the villagers. A total of 1,161 animals were treated at the camp. Fayaz Khan, Second-in-Command of the unit also interacted with the villagers.
