Medical team to escort CM home

NEW DELHI, Sept 9 � A medical team from Assam headed by Dr Anjan Bhattacharyya has arrived to accompany Chief Minister, Tarun Gogoi back to Guwahati tomorrow.

The Chief Minister is leaving for Guwahati tomorrow as scheduled and likely to resume his duty from Monday.

A team of two doctors including the head of the Guwahati Medical College�s Cardiology Department has flown in to be at hand, when Gogoi takes the flight back home on Friday.

Dr Bhattacharyya was closely associated and had done the initial supervision and interacted with doctors in Delhi and Mumbai.

The Chief Minister is currently undergoing physical exercise and physiotherapy sessions, amidst a tight restriction on visitors. He is scheduled to leave for airport at 9.30 am and catch the Air India flight to Guwahati.
