IMPHAL, Dec 19 � The Manipur Assembly session began at the newly constructed Assembly hall here today.
The House today paid homage to former Prime Minister IK Gujaral, former Chief Minister W Nipamacha Singh, former Minister Md Allauddin Khan and MLAs Md Abdul Wahid and L Kerani. The 60- member Assembly also observed a two minute silence to honour the departed souls.
Chief Minister Ibobi Singh recalled and highlighted the work done by former Chief Minister Nipamacha during his tenure. The session will conclude tomorrow.
