GUWAHATI, Jan 27 - In a major reshuffle, the State government has transferred Violet Baruah, Deputy Inspector General of Police (Border-II), Guwahati, and posted her as Deputy Inspector General of Police (BTAD), Kokrajhar.
Dr Ramandeep Kaur, Commandant, Commando Battalion, Mandakata, North Guwahati, has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, West Karbi Anglong, Hamren, replacing Mrinal Talukdar who has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police, Jorhat.
Lachit Baruah, Deputy Inspector General of Police (Northern Range), Tezpur, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police (CID), Guwahati, replacing Mridulananda Sarma, who has been posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police (Northern Range), Tezpur.
PK Bhuyan, Deputy Inspector General of Police, (North Eastern Region), Tinsukia, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police (Training), Dergaon, replacing Rana Bhuyan who has been transferred and posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police (Border-II), Guwahati.
Jitmol Doley, Superintendent of Police, Jorhat, has been promoted and posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police (North Eastern Region), Tinsukia.
Rafiul Alam Laskar, Assistant Inspector General of Police (Admin), Guwahati, has been promoted and posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police (BIEO), Guwahati, against an existing vacancy. Dr Sanjukta Parashar, on deputation to NIA, Government of India, New Delhi, and Vivek Raj Singh, on interstate deputation to Madhya Pradesh, have been promoted.
