NAMRUP, March 20 - The main gate of Joypur rain forest was formally inaugurated by Rameswar Teli, MP, Dibrugarh yesterday in a grand ceremony in presence of dignitaries including Dilip Deka, DFO, Dibrugarh; Bubul Boruah, range officer, Joypur. Earlier, Gyan Pal Mahather of Namphake Buddha Bihar started the ceremony by lighting the earthen lamp. It is to be added that this gate has been constructed with Rs 10 lakh sanctioned under MP Local Area Development Fund.
