GUWAHATI, Sept 6 - The closing function of the Professor Maheswar Neog Birth Centenary Celebration Programme will be held tomorrow at the Rabindra Bhawan here under the aegis of the Professor Maheswar Neog Memorial Trust.
According to a press release, the function will be inaugurated at 4.30 pm by Governor PB Acharya. The closing function lecture titled, �Aphasia, the Future of Memory�, will be delivered by Prof Ganesh N Devi, Chairman, People�s Linguistic Survey of India, Baroda.
Two publications titled, Maheswar Neog (1915-1995) A Centenary Volume and Professor Maheswar Neog Commemorative Issue of Asam Sahitya Sabha Patrika, will be released by Dr Nirmal Kumar Chaudhury, former vice-chancellor, Gauhati University.
The function will be presided over by Dr Nagen Saikia, president of the trust, the release added.
