SHILLONG, Aug 29 - Lieutenant General Praveen Bakshi, General Officer Commanding in Chief (GOC-in-C) Eastern Command concluded a two-day visit to Shillong Military Station today. The Commander visited Headquarters 101 Area here and was briefed by GOC 101 Area on the operational preparedness of the formation, Defence sources said. The Army Commander also visited Headquarters of the Director General Assam Rifles on the outskirts of the State Capital at Laitkor and interacted with Director General Assam Rifles and addressed the IGs of Assam Rifles during a conclave. Later, the General was taken on a tour of various Army establishments here.
