GUWAHATI, Nov 21 - The newly formed political party Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) has already started its process of candidates� selection for the ensuing Assam Assembly polls.
A committee headed by Shantkam Hazarika has been formed for the purpose. The party general secretary Ranu Baruwa will be the secretary for the selection committee.
Other members of the committee are Prodyut Bora, president of LDP, Absar Hazarika, Aslam Khan and Sigdha Devi Sangma.
The party will release their first list of candidates in the first week of December 2015, a press release said.
