GUWAHATI, July 6 � The City police today arrested a number of Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS) members while they were staging demonstrations and breaking police barricades at various points of Khanapara area in support of their demand for removal of Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) chairman Rakesh Paul. The KMSS activists also alleged obstructive activities of the State Government to frustrate the process of updating the National Register of Citizens (NRC).
