JALAH, March 20 � The decomposed bodies of the kidnapped branch manager of Asom Gramin Vikash Bank, Nagrijuli branch, Naren Rajbongsi and computer operator Satyajit Das, were recovered today from Shahpur area under Nagrijuli PS in Baksa.
The two were kidnapped on December 27 last when they were on way to office. The bodies were unearthed from an unused well using JCB machine. The bodies bore injury marks and hands and mouths were tied. Police said 10 people have been arrested in this connection who have confessed to committing the crime for ransom.
Police said the two were killed the same day they were kidnapped and bodies were dumped at the unused well.
The arrested persons are Sunil Mondol, Binanda Biswas, Dipankar Deka, Pranjal Deka, Dimbeswar Kalita, Ramen Deka, Bhaskar Barua, Bogha Kalita, Babul Barua and Tinku Kalita.
